Changes with Time

Well first off 2nd grade is going great for Tyler. He has really grown up since 1st grade and more confidence in himself. He just recently tried out for the school Drama Troop so we will see if acting is in his future.

He has recovered great from his tonsil surgery. He bounced back fast, considering it was only 2 weeks ago. He is sleeping much better at night and no more snoring thus far. He wakes up in a good mood and ready to start the day.

Some sad news now......our favorite doctor, Dr Robert Gates, has decided to take a position on the East coast. We are very sad to learn this news just shortly after we came back from Tucson but ironically we met his replacement while at the conference. Dr Gates had been talking about Tyler's care being transferred to Dr Michael Allshouse. I am so happy Tyler is being left in good hands as Dr Allshouse specializes in bowel disorders and bowel management. That being said we will soon know what it is like to travel for medical care. Unfortunately the new doctor is a 3 hour drive from our home. We hope that our first visit on 8/23/10 that all other non-urgent care can be managed by email and phone calls. It is exciting and scary all at the same time. I have full confidence that God set it up this way and has a plan. Dr. Gates is such an awesome man and is in contact often with Dr. Allshouse and has mentioned he would by available via phone should any questions arise. But watch out Dr Allshouse, Dr Gates has spoiled our family too much over the past 2 years!
